I’ve actually managed to read a ton of blogs this week, it’s been great! I’ve probably spent at least an hour and a half each day just reading blogs as well as all the other stuff I need to fit into my day. The result has been some pretty late nights so I’m looking forward to a restful weekend. 🙂
This week has seen the hubby and I make our biggest debt repayment so far and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who’s read my posts this week and taken time to comment.
I did feel a bit down about how much debt we’ve still got left to pay off (around 90%!), but the comments I’ve received cheered me up so much and I’m feeling really positive again now! So thank you my PF friends!
Anyways, onto the fab links for this week, these are my favourite reads from a great bunch:
As mentioned, I was in need of motivation this week, so I was really happy to read The Frugal Farmer’s post on 4 Reasons Why I Know You CAN Pay Off Your Debt! It was just what I needed to read, thank you Laurie!
Rita P from Digital Spikes wrote an interesting post on Become rich now or never. There’s never a better time than right now! When I think about it, I’m working towards a richer life even now by tackling all these debts. Yippee!
Lyle at The Joy of Simple wrote a post which cheered me up immensely – again, just what I needed this week – Looking For The Silver Lining: An Optimist’s Quest!
Since starting my new addiction (blogging), I can’t help but want to learn more about creating a successful site. So I really enjoyed Pauline’s post from Make Money Your Way, she wrote a really helpful article this week on How to Monetize Your Site Part 1, Affiliate and Adsense.
If you’re looking for ways to save money on transportation, Free Money Minute collected a great bunch of articles from the talented personal finance community: 9 Ways to Save on Transportation.
Shannon from Tackling Our Debt wrote a great post on 3 Steps to Aligning Your Spending With Your Goals. Having specific goals and a plan to achieve them can help us eliminate mindless and emotional spending.
I hope you enjoy these reads as much as I did! Have a great weekend! 🙂
