It’s my favourite time of the month again as I get to report back on how the hubby and I have been getting on with repaying our debts. We haven’t paid as much off this month as we did in the last two months, but we’re feeling really positive about our progress because at the end of the day, it’s going the right way! During the month of September, we paid £872.50 off our total debts. This includes our minimum payments and an extra payment onto my credit card. Happy Friday! 🙂 Hope you’re all looking forward to the weekend? It’s been a pretty good week for me. Things have settled down after the excitement of my daughter’s birthday party and I’ve enjoyed catching up with my favourite personal finance blogs! This includes food, toiletries and cleaning products etc. The saving as you’ve probably guessed from the title of this post is… wine. I’ve mentioned before that we don’t really go out much these days because the cost of a babysitter is astronomical and drinks/food on top of that cost would totally blow our budget…
Thanks to everyone who gave me some feedback this week on what makes a well designed blog. Your comments have all really helped me to tweak the design I’ve already got in place to make it work a bit better! The consensus overall was that a clean and uncluttered design works well, with plenty of white space. A common theme throughout the answers was that the size of the font on this blog was a little too small, so I’ve rectified that now along with adding a custom header. Hope you like the changes! I did have my eye on…
