    Friday’s Fab Links #1

I’ve been reading so many blogs lately and there really is a wealth of information out there to inspire others. I thought I would write a weekly post (or try to anyway) to capture which blog posts I’ve enjoyed and why.

Here’s my fab links from this week:

Amanda from My Life I Guess wrote a thought-provoking post on ‘Don’t Delay the Happy’. Why does it take something bad to happen before we realise that life is too short? As Amanda points out, life is for the living. Check out her post to remind yourself why.

Thomas from Your Daily Finance posted an article about ‘Lifestyle Changes That Can Improve Your Finances’. How many of us waste the stuff that we’ve already bought such as food, cosmetics, toiletries?

Girl Counting Pennies wrote some great tips – ‘10 Ways to Cut Your Food Bill in Half’. Reducing your food and groceries bill is easier than you think with careful planning and budgeting.

Glen from Monster Piggy Bank wrote a great article on ‘How much does a dog cost’. Well worth bearing in mind if you’re thinking about getting a four legged friend anytime soon.

Laurie at the The Frugal Farmer reminded us about ‘How to Help Others When You’re on a Tight Budget.’ There are always people worse off than we are and you don’t need to be rich to offer your services!

Happy Friday and have a great weekend!

You’re welcome! I think food and groceries is one area where most people think they can’t save. We thought that at one time but we’ve reduced our food bill significantly over the last six months. And the savings have gone towards debt payments! Have a great weekend too!

This is my first time to your blog and I must say that it looks really nice and clean (I feel like mine is WAY too cluttered).
