Today, I wanted to share with you this great infographic which caught my eye earlier this week. It’s a road map to debt recovery for people in Scotland who are struggling with debt.

It goes without saying that being in debt is unpleasant at best and downright devastating at worst. For some people in debt, they don’t think that they have a way out, which is really sad, because there’s always a way out of debt.

Ignoring debt and hoping it will go away isn’t the best thing to do by any means. Getting out of debt means taking action in some way to make things change even if the best course of action will take a long time.

This infographic has been put together by Debt Therapy Scotland and outlines the help available for Scottish residents with debt problems.Roadmap to Debt Recovery

If you have a blog or website, you can also share this by copying and pasting this code into your HTML.

Interesting!! I was shocked to read Grayson’s post on Frugal Rules that consumer debt is going up here in the US. 🙁

I agree with what Laurie said about Grayson’s post and how debt is going up and it seems we really haven’t learned a lot from the recession. Hopefully a lot of people will find the infographic useful!

While I don’t know much about debt programs in Scotland, I really like the way that this infographic molds to fit the reader’s situation based on things like having a job and the amount of debt. I love infographics and this one is great!

Good infographic. Although it’s catered to those in Scotland the basic ideas/principles can be applied to anyone and anywhere in the world.

Thanks for sharing your story (I’m new to reading your blog) and keep up the great work. I think many of us in the US tend to think we have the monopoly on consumer debt but it’s a universal issue.

I heard recently that consumer spending was going up. I think people have more confidence which is good but it could mean bad things later down the line.
